Our
Story

Derick and Ruth have a heart on fire for God. Ruth’s life is a story of adversity meeting opportunity. After losing her mother at the age of six, she and some of her siblings were sent to an orphanage. In the orphanage, Ruth realized quality education can open doors and change the trajectory of lives. This is where her vision of bringing education to her home village of Bugoba began. In 2016, Yahweh Tendereza Ministries was founded. The ministry currently serves 300+ children in the primary school, offers the only Christ- centered village church, empowers community women who suffer injustices, and has multiple sustainable agriculture projects.
